Answer Your Cat’s Question Day (January 22)

    01/18/201512/22/2017

What do your cats think about? Their next meal, cuddle time, and finding the perfect nap spot, for sure. But there must be more going on inside those curious minds. To help us understand I asked some cats at random if they would share a question they’ve been pondering for a long time. These are actual questions as posed by the cats, with responses provided by two dogs, a pony and a pig

FAQ: How can I get my pets to stop waking me up so early?

    05/27/201412/22/2017

Finally you have a day off and you’re looking forward to sleeping in late. Then your dog or cat wakes you up at dawn. Or they constantly wake you at 5:00 am instead of waiting for the alarm clock. Sound familiar? It’s one of the most common complaints I hear from pet owners. Try this simple solution to teach your animals about wake-up times.

People laugh when I tell them this is all they have to do to teach their pets to not wake them. But it works, even for people who have never tried communicating with their pets in this way before.

    Conversation with a hospital fish

    05/05/201412/22/2017

While a friend’s son was in the hospital having surgery she was in a hospital waiting room near a large tank with many beautiful fish. As she sat waiting one fish seemed to be watching her and she became fascinated by him. She sent me several photos of this little guy she dubbed ‘Fishy’ and commented “This fish looks like he wants to talk!” Later I talked to him about his life at the hospital. I hope you enjoy learning his thoughts.
